Putney Osteopaths COVID-19 safety protocols

In the interest of safety for our patients and staff, we have implemented measures to reduce the likelihood of virus transmission. These include:

• Patients are asked screening questions upon entry to the clinic

• Practitioners to wear medical grade PPE in accordance with the guidance given by the iO (Institute of Osteopathy) at that time

• Protective screen at reception

• Staggered appointment times to reduce patient crossover in the waiting room

• Treatment rooms are cleaned and sheets replaced in between each appointment

• Touch points such as door handles, card machine, WC etc are cleaned at least once per day

• Use of air filtration system

• Additional training on Infection Prevention and Control for staff

As government restrictions ease, we kindly ask patients to continue to wear a face covering in the waiting area (unless exempt), to protect vulnerable patients/staff.

If you have symptoms of COVID-19, have recently been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 or have been asked to quarantine/isolate (remove) please do not attend the clinic.

We are constantly reviewing our COVID-19 protocols to reflect government guidance and the risk level in the UK and abroad. Thank you for your continued help in keeping each other safe.
